Which LINK solution fits where?

Choose the configuration around the space

Different activities call for different settings. A quick team check-in, a digital meeting and an afternoon of project work each place different demands on the space around them.

LINK brings room, wall and mobile solutions into one shared design language. This allows you to create a variety of meeting environments across the workplace while keeping the interior visually connected.

By specifying LINK, you establish a framework designed to accommodate a wide range of meeting room technology. You can focus on the spatial layout and design expression, while the AV integrator develops the equipment selection, mounting and cable routing within that framework.

Rooms within rooms

Create dedicated settings within larger spaces, without permanent construction.

A room within a room gives meetings a recognisable place within an open office. It can introduce a sense of arrival and separation while retaining the flexibility to adapt the layout later.

Start with the furniture arrangement and how people will enter, gather and move around the setting. Consider the relationship between the opening, nearby workstations and main circulation routes. Curtains allow visual openness to change throughout the day and can provide a considered backdrop for digital meetings.

LINK Room Small, Medium and Large offer different footprints for these settings. Choose the size around the intended group and furniture layout. Structure-only variants allow curtains to be added later, while Complete variants bring the structure, curtains and an accessory kit together.

Where confidential conversations or acoustic isolation are required, include those needs in the wider acoustic design. Visual screening and speech privacy need to be considered separately.

Meeting alcoves

Introduce small, semi-enclosed meeting spaces close to everyday work.

Meeting alcoves make it easy to step away from a desk for a conversation or a short digital meeting. Their open entrance keeps them connected to the workplace, while the surrounding structure gives the activity a defined setting.

Position the opening so that people can enter naturally without placing the meeting directly in a busy circulation route. Consider seating orientation, views towards the display and the background visible to remote participants. The furniture should support a comfortable conversation while leaving the entrance clear.

LINK Half-room is designed for this type of setting. Its framework brings the display, textiles and accessories together around a compact meeting area. Where an existing recess already provides spatial definition, LINK Wall can introduce the technology and everyday essentials within it.

Team huddles

Bring people together for quick check-ins and shared ideas.

A team huddle benefits from a setting that is easy to approach and ready for a short exchange. A shared screen can become the focal point for a project update, a design review or an impromptu discussion.

Allow enough room for people to gather without blocking movement through the office. Consider whether the group will sit, stand or do both, and position the display accordingly. For a mobile setup, plan a clear route between its usual locations and convenient access to power.

LINK Mobile brings the screen to the team. LINK Divider Back combines a mobile display with a textile finish towards the surrounding space, making it useful where the gathering point also needs a visual boundary. For a recurring huddle location, LINK Wall provides a fixed focal point.

Social space

Give informal gathering areas a clear identity within the wider workplace.

Social spaces support conversations that happen between planned activities. They should feel welcoming and connected to their surroundings, with technology available when it adds to the interaction.

Start with the seating, the approach to the space and its relationship to nearby work areas. Use colours and textiles to connect the setting with the wider interior, and consider whether the screen should remain visible between uses.

LINK Half-room can frame an informal seating group while keeping the entrance open. Several alcoves can create a sequence of gathering points within a larger shared area. LINK Divider Complete offers another approach: use the display for an informal presentation, then close the front curtains to return the setting to a softer textile expression.

Open-plan zoning

Define different areas while maintaining connections across the office.

Zoning helps an open office accommodate different activities without dividing every area with permanent walls. The aim is to make the layout understandable while preserving useful views, movement and access to daylight.

Consider the boundaries from both sides. A divider beside a desk cluster will also form part of the view from a nearby lounge or circulation route. Decide where visual screening is helpful and where openness should remain. Keep entrances and routes clear as the layout develops.

LINK Divider combines a spatial boundary with a display solution. Divider Frame keeps the expression open, Divider Back adds a rear textile finish, and Divider Complete allows the screen to be concealed. LINK Room and Half-room configurations can establish more distinct meeting zones within the same floor plan.

Shared project spaces

Bring work surfaces, shared content and project materials into one dedicated setting.

Project spaces need to support movement between discussion, individual work and shared review. Consider how the team will use digital content, physical materials and writing surfaces throughout a session.

Plan the relationship between the table, display and whiteboard so that people can move between them easily. Give frequently used materials a convenient place, and consider what should remain available between sessions.

LINK Room Medium or Large can frame a dedicated project area, depending on the furniture and group size. In an existing room, LINK Wall brings displays, whiteboards, shelves and smaller accessories into a coordinated arrangement.

For workshops, LINK Mobile with Accessory Kit Workshop adds a screen, removable toolbox, hooks and rear installation box. The toolbox can be lifted from the profile and taken to the table, keeping materials close to the activity.

Adaptable spaces

Plan for changing uses with movable elements and flexible spatial boundaries.

An adaptable space might host a presentation in the morning, group work in the afternoon and an informal gathering later. Design around how these changes will happen in practice.

Consider which elements need to move, where they will go between activities and how each arrangement connects to power. Leave room for people to reposition furniture and mobile displays. Accessories should be easy to reach in each layout. LINK Mobile and LINK Divider support changes throughout the day. Compatible accessories can be repositioned or shared between LINK products, and the Toolbox can move directly to the working table.

For changes over a longer period, LINK Room structures can be reconfigured. A Small room can grow with additional pillars and profiles, while the entrance in a Large room can move from the short side to the long side. Curtains and accessories can develop with the new arrangement.
