Connect the spatial idea with the technical requirements

A successful hybrid meeting space brings the interior concept, technology and everyday use into the same conversation. LINK was developed to make spatial definition and screening part of the design from the start. Our team can help you explore a configuration that brings these considerations together within your project.

Start with the space and the activity

Share a plan or sketch showing where people will meet, how they will approach the space and what happens around it. Include the intended furniture arrangement and whether the setting is for short conversations, presentations, video meetings or collaborative work.

Discuss visual privacy early. What should participants see around them, and what will appear behind them on camera? A compact meeting alcove and a larger collaboration area may need different degrees of openness. Where speech privacy is required, include that in the acoustic brief for the wider space.

Design the space with confidence

Specify LINK as part of your interior concept, knowing that the framework is designed to accommodate a wide range of displays, cameras, microphones and other meeting room technology. This allows you to establish the spatial layout and design expression without resolving every technical detail from the start.

The AV integrator can then develop the equipment selection, mounting and cable routing at a later stage, working within the framework you have already defined. LINK provides a shared starting point, allowing you to focus on the space while the integrator focuses on making the technology work within it.

Define the visual and material intent

Share the project's palette and the relationship you want between LINK and the surrounding interior. Should the structure blend in, establish a distinct meeting point or connect several settings through a consistent finish?

Consider the view from both sides of a divider, the appearance of curtains when open and closed, curtains in direct sunlight, and which equipment should remain visible. If the standard colour options do not suit the project, include your preferred direction in a customisation request.

Plan for installation and later changes

Identify any site conditions that may affect the proposal, such as available wall construction, access routes or restrictions on the layout. Discuss likely changes too: a larger display, a different opening position or additional curtains may influence the initial configuration.

Bring the relevant project partners into the review so that product selection, building conditions, installation and technology are considered together.

Send us your plan, design brief and known equipment requirements to start a conversation about the right LINK configuration.
