Stockholmsmässan asked for screen solutions to meet the many needs of visitors and exhibitors at their trade shows. Among other things, we put up cased displays in the fair as well as outdoor casings for displays in the carpark, at the entrance and along the road that leads to the fair from the nearby train station.

High demands on flexibility

Stockholmsmässan needed to update their digital displays and the demands were high. In an environment where different areas require different solutions, visitors and exhibitors at trade shows need to receive the right message at the right time. In addition to conveying important information, Stockholmsmässan also wanted to inspire the visitors and tell them about upcoming trade shows and events.

Movable casings to meet many needs

In cooperation with Stockholmsmässan, we developed a number of solutions to meet their needs – and far beyond. To solve the problem of different trade shows and events having different needs for displays, we initially delivered 15 floor-based and movable SMS Casing Freestands for 40-inch displays from our Advanced product category.

Increased stability with weights

The trade show chose an anti-glare protective glass and an option for lockable cover plates on the bottom to keep media equipment hidden inside the solution. Because the products could not be firmly anchored to the floor, we added extra weights for increased stability. We also helped with casings for displays mounted on columns, using SMS Casing Frame & SMS Casing Complete within the framework of our Tailored offerings.

A videowall with easy service access

We also put up a customized video wall of 22 displays, with extra thin frames to create seamless transitions. The design is specially made to make technical service easier. We also installed Advanced casings for 16 Samsung OHD 55” outdoor displays using SMS Casing Samsung OHD.
