What were the most important design priorities when developing the EVER 1000?

One important priority was to maintain the aesthetic expression that defines the earlier products in the EVER series. At the same time, we wanted to develop a more robust product capable of supporting larger and heavier displays.

What makes this stand different from previous models in the EVER series?

The EVER 1000 is taller, wider, and deeper, which makes it significantly more stable. This is especially important when the stand is used with heavier displays and needs to be moved around on wheels. Even though the same motors are used as in previous EVER models, the motors are positioned higher inside the body. This allows the display to be raised to a higher position.

What engineering challenges did the team face during development?

One challenge was designing the legs. They needed to be longer and stronger to support larger displays. The legs are also an important part of the visual identity of the EVER series, giving the stands their elegant and clean appearance. Because of this, the new legs for the EVER 1000 needed to follow the same design language.

In previous EVER products, the legs are manufactured using casting, which allows for a high degree of freedom in shaping the form. For the EVER 1000, however, we chose to manufacture the legs using steel sheet that is bent and welded. These production methods do not allow for the same level of complex shapes.

Despite that, we managed to create a design that closely resembles the earlier EVER legs. Another challenge was integrating more motors into the body in order to lift heavier loads. The stand includes three motors as standard, with the possibility to add a fourth motor for especially heavy displays. At the same time, it was important to keep enough internal space for storing electronic equipment such as media players inside the body.

In what types of environments do you see the EVER 1000 being most useful?

The EVER 1000 is primarily designed for larger spaces such as auditoriums, exhibition halls, and large conference rooms.

What small design details might installers appreciate the most?

A high level of pre-assembly from the factory. This makes the stand quick and easy to assemble on site. There is also an installation plate available as an accessory. This allows installers to mount their equipment onto the plate first and then easily attach the plate inside the body without using tools.

How did you make sure the stand would support future upgrades?

One important feature is the mounting hole pattern for the display interface. We designed it so that many existing display interfaces are compatible with the stand. The body is also designed to support different types of covers, such as Clean Covers and Edge Covers.

What role do flexibility and modular design play in products like this?

Both the EVER series as a whole and this specific model use modular components. This allows many parts to be reused when creating bodies with different widths or configurations.

What do you think people will notice first when using the stand?

Its stability. It’s also very quiet, no metal parts are rattling when the stand is moved.
