As Marcom Manager Josephine Färlin works with our two brands, sms and evoko, under the recently merged sms evoko group. Before she joined our team she was a Personal Trainer and had her own company where she had created a concept based on ballet but adapted for people with no or limited dancing experience. Having grown up on a farm, nature is an important part of her life and in the autumn she enjoys hunting moose in the forests in Hälsingland.

How can a typical day of work look for you?
One of the things I love most about my job, is that there is not a typical day. I lead a team of brilliant people, specializing in different areas, and depending on what is going on at the moment, the focus of my tasks can vary quite a lot. It could be planning and discussing how to optimize our digital campaigns or our websites, going through what kind of marketing materials we need to create or update. We have distributors all around the world and sell our products in more than 100 countries, so we never get bored. Lately my focus has been the rebranding of both our brands.
What makes working at sms evoko group fun?
We are a global organization consisting of different personalities in different cultures with different backgrounds and experiences. The exchange of knowledge we get on a day-to-day basis is one of the things I cherish most.
What are you working on at the moment?
Except following up on our rebranding to make sure we are on track, I am now looking for a Digital Content Producer to join our fab team. So if you read this and think “OMG, I am a self-driven person that loves to create digital content” you can go ahead and send me your CV!

Sms and evoko just rebranded, can you tell us a little bit about this?
Sms and evoko are two innovative and strong brands that we are very proud of. Since we started, a lot has happened in the market, the competition is getting tougher, but at the same time our product portfolios are stronger than ever. At sms evoko group, we consider ourselves to be challengers, not settling down but constantly strive to get better.
What is the purpose behind the rebranding?
We felt there was a need to go through our brand platforms and make them up to date. Looking into depth and truly understanding who our customers are, what problems we solve, which opportunities and limitations we have. What is happening in our industries, which potential wow-factors do we see and what is the way forward for our brands? These are some of the questions we have had in mind through the process, and by answering them, we eventually came up with our new brand platforms, what they represent and how they look.
What will the new sms and evoko bring to its customers?
We are constantly looking forward to seeing what we can do next. And I can tell you, we are looking into exciting times for both of our brands. Evoko brings you clever workplace solutions that increase efficiency and evoke a feeling of delight for the people who use them.
